Plan Limits & Usage
Understand how usage is tracked in TradeLasso and what features are available at each plan level.
What counts as usage
TradeLasso tracks several usage metrics depending on your plan:
- Screenings per month — Each single search or batch screening job counts toward your monthly screening limit
- Batch rows — The maximum number of entities you can screen in a single batch upload (separate from monthly screening limit)
- API requests — Rate limits and number of API keys available (Essential and higher plans)
- Advanced features — Compliance certificates, regulatory alerts, watchlist monitors, and webhooks have separate monthly or per-feature limits on Advanced and Complete plans
Checking your usage
Your current usage is shown in multiple places:
- Dashboard — The Screening Usage card shows your current screening count, limit, and a progress bar
- Usage & Limits — Dashboard → Usage & Limits shows a comprehensive breakdown of all your plan limits and current usage
- Subscription — Dashboard → Subscription shows your current plan and billing information

Usage warnings
TradeLasso will alert you when you approach your monthly search limit:
- At 80% — the usage progress bar turns amber and you receive a notification
- At 100% — the bar turns red and further searches are blocked until the period resets or you upgrade
Note
Usage resets at the start of each billing period. If you are on a Free plan, usage resets monthly.
Upgrading your plan
If you need higher limits or access to advanced features like compliance certificates, regulatory alerts, or watchlist monitoring, you can upgrade your plan at any time:
- Go to Dashboard → Subscription to view available plans and upgrade
- Essential — Best for small teams needing basic screening and API access
- Advanced — Adds automation features like certificates, alerts, monitoring, and webhooks
- Complete — Unlimited everything for compliance-critical organizations
When you upgrade, changes take effect immediately and you'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your billing period.
