Upgrading & Cancellation
How to upgrade to a paid plan, manage your billing cycle, and cancel your subscription.
Upgrading your plan
You can upgrade your plan at any time from:
- Dashboard → Subscription
- Any upgrade prompt in the app (the "Upgrade for unlimited access" link or the Pro Feature modal)
- The public pricing page
Clicking an upgrade option opens the checkout flow, powered by Paddle (our Merchant of Record). You will be prompted to enter your payment details. TradeLasso does not store your credit card information — it is handled entirely by Paddle.
Billing cycles
Plans are available on monthly or annual billing cycles. Annual plans include a discount compared to paying month-to-month. You can select your preferred cycle during checkout.
After upgrading
Your Pro features are activated immediately after a successful payment. You will receive:
- An in-app notification confirming your subscription is active
- A receipt email from Paddle
If your account does not reflect the upgrade immediately, refresh the page. If the issue persists after a few minutes, contact support.
Cancellation
To cancel your subscription, go to Dashboard → Subscription and follow the cancellation flow.
Note
Canceling does not end your Pro access immediately. You retain all Pro features until the end of your current billing period.
After your subscription ends:
- Your account reverts to the Free plan
- Saved profiles above the Free limit will be read-only until you remove some or resubscribe
- Search history, batch jobs, and PDF export features become inaccessible (data is retained per our retention policy)
Data after cancellation
Your account data — screening history, saved profiles, and compliance notes — is retained for up to 24 months after account closure, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. If you resubscribe within that period, your data will be accessible again.
