What is Batch Screening?
Batch Screening lets you upload a CSV file containing hundreds of entity names and screen them all automatically — in minutes instead of hours.
Note
Batch Screening is a Pro plan feature. Upgrade your plan to access it.
The problem it solves
Manually screening one entity at a time is practical for occasional transactions, but it breaks down quickly when you need to:
- Onboard a new vendor list with 50, 200, or 1,000 entries
- Perform a periodic re-screen of your entire customer or supplier database
- Screen a list of conference attendees, contractors, or new hires
- Clear a batch of orders before they ship
Batch Screening lets you upload your list as a CSV file and TradeLasso handles the rest — screening every row against the full CSL, scoring each match, and presenting the results in a structured table.
How it works
- Upload — upload a .csv file containing the entity names you want to screen
- Map columns — select which column contains entity names and optionally a country column
- Screen — TradeLasso processes each row, running it against all 13 CSL lists
- Review results — a results table shows each row with a status (Hit, Clean, or Error), match score, and matched entity name
- Export — download the results as a CSV for your records, or save individual hits to Saved Profiles
File requirements
- File format: .csv only
- Maximum file size: 5 MB
- First row must be column headers
- File must contain at least one column with entity names
- Row limits vary by plan — see the pricing page for your plan's limit
Batch vs. single-entity screening
| Single-entity RPS | Batch Screening |
|---|---|
| One entity per search | Hundreds of entities per job |
| Results in seconds | Results in minutes (depending on file size) |
| Ideal for individual due diligence | Ideal for bulk onboarding or periodic re-screening |
| Available on all plans | Pro plans only |
| Advanced filters available | Full CSL always searched |
