Regulatory Update Alerts

Stay informed about sanctions list changes with automatic regulatory update notifications.

What are regulatory update alerts?

Regulatory update alerts automatically notify you when sanctions lists and restricted party databases are updated. This includes:

  • New entities added to OFAC SDN, BIS, EU, UN, or other lists
  • Existing entries modified (name changes, address updates, new aliases)
  • Entities removed or delisted
  • New sanctions programs or regulatory changes

These alerts help you maintain continuous compliance by ensuring you're aware of list changes within 24 hours of publication, without manually checking government websites.

Note

Regulatory alerts are available on Advanced and Complete plans. Advanced plans include 100 alerts per month; Complete plans include unlimited alerts.

Why regulatory alerts matter

Sanctions lists change frequently:

  • OFAC updates the SDN list multiple times per month, often with little warning
  • BIS adds 30+ entities per month to the Entity List on average
  • EU and UN publish updates on varying schedules
  • Emergency designations can happen at any time in response to geopolitical events

Without automated alerts, you risk continuing business with newly-sanctioned parties, exposing your organization to compliance violations and penalties.

How alerts work

TradeLasso monitors all major sanctions lists 24/7:

  1. Automatic monitoring — We check official government sources multiple times per day for updates
  2. Change detection — Our system identifies new additions, modifications, and removals
  3. Alert generation — When changes are detected, alerts are created and sent to your account
  4. Notification delivery — You receive alerts via email and in-app notifications
  5. Review and action — Review alerts and take appropriate action (re-screen customers, update records, etc.)
